The creative collective SOYUZ, led by the distinguished composer and singer Alex Chumak, along with multi-instrumentalist Mikita Arlou, invites you to an unforgettable concert at the Drizzly Grizzly club. The event will take place on April 4th, 2024, in the heart of Gdańsk.
SOYUZ, meaning “union” in Russian, is not just the band’s name but also a manifesto of the creative synergy between its members. Their unique sound, which has evolved over the years, is a blend of jazz influences, non-English speaking pop music of the 20th century, and elements of popular Brazilian music from the 70s. The band’s third album, “Force of the Wind”, is a tribute to nature and its untamed force, presented through the prism of Russian and Portuguese songs, vocalizations, and instrumental compositions.
The concert at Drizzly Grizzly will not only be an opportunity to hear live performances of tracks from “Force of the Wind” but also a testament to the global cultural dialogue that SOYUZ conducts through its music.
