Zamilska

Natalia Zamilska, known professionally as Zamilska, is a Polish producer, composer, and radio presenter, born in 1989 in Zawiercie. She is one of the most distinctive voices on the European electronic scene. Her music is a blend of raw techno, noise, industrial, and ethnic music elements, which gives her work a unique, dystopian character.

 

Zamilska debuted in 2014 with the album “Untune,” which received critical acclaim and ranked 12th in the annual top list of The Quietus magazine. Her second album, “Undone,” released in 2016, was nominated for a Fryderyk award in the electronic music category. In 2019, she released her third album, “Uncovered,” which was also well-received.

 

Throughout her career, Zamilska has collaborated with many artists, including Paulina Przybysz, for whom she produced the track “Dzielne kobiety,” which won a Fryderyk award. Her music has also been used in fashion, with the track “Duel 35” featured in a Dior fashion show in Tokyo in 2014. Zamilska has performed at prestigious festivals such as Open’er, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Unsound, and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.

 

Her tracks have been recommended by music icons like Iggy Pop and Nine Inch Nails. She also hosted the show “Nocny TransPort” on the Czwórka radio station. Zamilska is known for not limiting herself to one musical genre, constantly seeking new sounds and inspirations, making her work exceptionally original and dynamic.

 

Thanks to her relentless determination and unique approach to music, Zamilska has gained recognition both in Poland and internationally, becoming one of the most important voices in contemporary electronic music.
