Stoned Jesus

Founded in Kyiv by Igor Sydorenko, Stoned Jesus gained worldwide fame with the album “Seven Thunders Roar,” which has become a permanent fixture in the canon of stoner/doom metal music. The song “I’m the Mountain” from this release has become an icon of the genre, but the band’s output is much more than just this one album.

As one of the pillars of the European psychedelic rock scene, which they significantly helped popularize, Stoned Jesus is constantly pushing the boundaries of their work! They are constantly experimenting and striving to explore new musical horizons. They draw inspiration from a variety of sources, and their newer material draws on the sounds of such bands as Swans, The Cure, King Crimson and Deftones.
