Kakkmaddafakka

Kakkmaddafakka, a Norwegian indie rock band from Bergen, is known for their incredibly energetic and spectacular live performances. Everything related to Kakkmaddafakka, from their complicated name to their cross-genre sound, may seem enigmatic, but everything makes sense on stage. Since their inception in 2004, the band has undergone many changes, but one thing remains constant – their live shows electrify audiences from intimate clubs to festival crowds of 50,000 people.

The road to success for Kakkmaddafakka was equally unconventional, characterized by a maximalist approach and a shameless sense of joy, indicating the freshness and innovation of the band. The group gained popularity through word-of-mouth and active use of social media, which helped them earn recognition at major festivals and in the media worldwide.

In 2011, the band released their first album titled “Hest,” produced by Erlend Øye. The album was excellently received by fans and critics globally. Their next album, “Six Months is a Long Time,” released in 2013, achieved similar success. Kakkmaddafakka sold out concert tours in Europe and South America and performed at the most important festivals. The band released two more albums, “KMF” in 2016 and “Hus” in 2017, expanding their repertoire of live hits.
