The band Halls of Oblivion combines melodic death metal with black and doom metal and synth influences to create a unique atmosphere. The music is composed mainly by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sebastian Ruf, giving the songs a black metal feel, and lead guitarist Marcel Welte, introducing melancholy melodies. Bassist Markus Kristen is responsible for the recordings and harmonious structure of the songs, and drummer Markus Weber adds creative touches with his playing.
