Coilguns

Coilguns was formed in 2011 by musicians previously associated with The Ocean, who wanted to create simpler and more energetic music with this new project. Their sound draws influences from post-hardcore, noise rock, and even math rock, with chaotic yet at times catchy riffs pouring out of their tracks. These riffs, combined with polyrhythmic drum structures, create a powerful force that hits even harder in a live setting.

Last year, they released the excellent album Odd Love, which they have already promoted at festivals such as Soulcrusher and Belgium’s Desertfest. This year, they won’t be slowing down either—they will perform their latest record in its entirety at the Dutch Roadburn festival, play at ArcTanGent in August, and somewhere in between, they will make a stop in our country.
