ALLES

Three years after the release of “Lost,” ALLES musicians are back with a new full studio material. “NOW” features a total of eight premiere numbers, which are an extension of their style. We are still dealing here with energetic numbers, brimming with emotion, especially when their musical layer is juxtaposed with strong lyrics that hit tender points, strip away illusions, accurately scoring and not sparing criticism even of their closest surroundings.

A similar narrative accompanies most of the songs in the output of the Lodz duo, being both a distinguishing feature of their work and a bridge connecting them to both the committed punk scene and the electro / synthwave aesthetic with a slightly post-industrial tinge, emerging primarily in the sound layer. Here, unlike on their first releases, thanks to the experience gained during the making of “Lost,” the raw, even ascetic sound gives way in favor of melody, filling most of the band’s fifth disc. Further on, we are dealing with dynamic, committed electropunk, admittedly, a bit more upbeat, richer in arrangement and sound, but still strong, direct and concrete, and thus consistent with ALLES’ previous formula.
