Tomorrow, on Sunday evening, adepts in the art of p-funk – P.Unity – will appear on Drizzly Grizzly’s stage.
This is probably the only project in Poland that so consistently cultivates soul and funk traditions, in a form characteristic of both genres – live, with a ten-member line-up, without computers. Heavily influenced by the work of George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic, P.Unity combines influences from D’Angelo’s neo-soul, new and old rap, the soft-psychedelic sound of Connan Mockasin or Nick Hakim, while not hiding the jazz background of a large part of the line-up.
Timeline
7:00 PM – doors
8:00 PM – P.Unity
Tickets for the concert, which takes place on 3 November, are available today at a lower price – midnight on the day of the show heralds the entry of a more expensive pool.
