Blenders

Blenders band was formed in 1991 in Gdańsk on the initiative of Szymon Kobylinski and Marcel Adamowicz. Their music is a unique combination of rock, funk, disco, and even pop melodies. Blenders quickly gained popularity thanks to their energetic, humor-filled songs, often featuring “makaronizmy” — elements of the English language woven into Polish lyrics.

Their 1995 debut album Kaszëbë brought them a nomination for the Fryderyk Awards, and their subsequent release Fankomat won gold record status. The band gained recognition on stages both in Poland and abroad, performing at the Woodstock Festival, among others.

Blenders returned in 2021 with their original line-up after a break and continue to tour, proving that their distinctive, energetic music still captivates audiences. In the summer of 2024, they played at two major festivals in Poland: Pol’and’Rock Festival and CieszFanów Festival.
