The Polish band Luxtorpeda will perform on November 14, 2024, at Drizzly Grizzly in Gdańsk! The group, founded by Robert “Litza” Friedrich (known from bands such as Acid Drinkers, Turbo, and Arka Noego), was formed in 2011 and quickly gained recognition on the Polish rock scene. The band also includes guitarist Robert Drążek, bassist Krzysztof Kmiecik (Armia, 2Tm2,3), and drummer Tomasz Krzyżaniak. The band’s vocalist is Przemysław Frencel (52 Dębiec).
Luxtorpeda’s latest album, “Omega,” released in the spring of 2022, features 11 new tracks that sharply comment on contemporary reality. This album, with its 90s-inspired sound, is considered the band’s strongest release to date. Luxtorpeda has received numerous nominations for the Fryderyk Awards, including the Best Rock Album award in 2011.
